Saturday – September 19, 2020

#2020-270968/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 9-19-2020 at 0008 hours police responded to a robbery in the 4300 block of Roosevelt Way NE. The complainant reported that two suspects entered the business and one of the suspects lifted his shirt and revealed a gun. The complainant explained that he was punched multiple times by the suspects, who stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and fled the area on foot. Police units searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. 

#2020-271402/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 9-19-2020 at 1537 hours, witnesses reported seeing a disturbance inside a parked vehicle near 28 Av S and S Warsaw St, which involved an adult male driver and an adult female passenger. The female exited the car and walked around to the driver’s side. At some point, the driver began to leave, and the now-pedestrian was struck and killed by the vehicle. The driver remained at the scene to speak to police. The dynamics of the incident are still under investigation. 

#2020-271490/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 9-19-2020 at 1815 hours, officers responded to a report of a theft and assault. The primary officer was interviewing the reporting party while the secondary officer was talking to the suspect. While the secondary officer was asking the suspect her name, she punched the officer in the face. Suspect was arrested and booked for Assault 3. Officer treated on scene by Seattle Fire.
