Police are investigating after an injured man in a stolen vehicle arrived at Harborview Medical Center Monday evening following a reported shooting on Beacon Hill.
Just before 5pm, officers responded to report of shots fired near Jose Rizal Park.
Police found evidence of a shooting at the scene, but no victim.
Ten minutes later, a man with gunshot wounds arrived at Harborview in a vehicle which police later determined was stolen.
Detectives responded to the hospital and interviewed the victim, who confirmed he had been shot near Jose Rizal Park but told police he was sleeping in a vehicle at the time of the shooting and was unable to provide police with a description of the suspect.
