#2020-312656/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 11-5-2020 at 1653 hours, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery of a pharmacy. Upon arrival officers found that the suspects had already fled the area. An area search was negative. The investigation revealed that two suspects walked up to the pharmacy window. One suspect jumped the counter while the other stayed outside with a gun. The suspect inside the pharmacy rummaged through some of the drugs before leaving, apparently without any product.
#2020-312780/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 11-5-2020 at 1901 hours, officers developed probable cause to arrest a suspect for Felony Harassment, as he made threats to kill and then was pounding on a victim’s door with a machete, causing at least four cut marks into the victim’s door. The suspect was in his apartment room. He was talking but refused to come out or open the door. The Hostage Negotiation Team arrived but was not able to get him to come out. A warrant was obtained, and SWAT responded. The suspect was taken into custody and booked. A machete was recovered.
