Police arrested two burglars on Aurora Avenue Tuesday evening after a construction worker called police and reported the pair had stolen wire from his worksite.
Around 8:45 PM, the construction worker called police, relayed the details of the burglary, and said the suspects were now waiting for a bus at 143rd and Aurora Avenue North.
Officer contacted the man and woman, learned the man had warrants, and confirmed the pair had taken items from the construction site.
Police recovered a number of tools frequently used by burglars and thieves—including bolt, cable, and wire cutters, and wire strippers—from the suspects and booked them into the King County Jail.
