#2020-340450/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 12-10-2020 at 0341 hours, a suspect fled after assaulting and robbing a victim at a residence in the Pioneer Square neighborhood. The suspect utilized a for hire vehicle and went home. The suspect was contacted at the address by North patrol units but refused to cooperate. The Hostage Negotiation Team and SWAT responded for the barricaded person. The primary West Precinct Officer wrote a search warrant. SWAT served the warrant and the suspect was arrested. The victim’s property was recovered from the suspect’s residence.
#2020-341061/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 12-10-2020 at 1800 hours, a male was confronted over a parking situation. The suspect yelled at the victim who then left. Thirty minutes later when the victim returned, the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and threatened to shoot him. Officers arrived and took the suspect into custody. The apartment was held while officers got an approved search warrant. Officers recovered a rifle and revolver along with ammo.
#2020-341114/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 12-10-2020 at 1940 hours, a 911 caller reported that his sister had been shot. Officers arrived in the area and contacted the complainant who was frantic and likely under the influence of an unknown narcotic. The complainant reported that he was with his sister when he heard shots being fired, but lost track of her. Evidence of a shooting was found in the area and other witnesses reported hearing the shots. Officers were able to verify that the sister was okay and not a victim via cell phone communication. No victims were located.
