On 12-13-2020 at 2140 hours, a female had parked her vehicle in the alleyway in the 4500 blk of Brooklyn Av NE. After getting out of her vehicle she walked towards a restaurant and was approached by a male who grabbed her from behind covering her mouth. Then two other males exited an unknown color SUV. Both were armed with firearms and one was reported to be a long gun. The suspects took the victim’s backpack which had $10,0000 in cash, jewelry, a Chinese passport and a cell phone. The suspects then got into the vehicle and drove away south bound. There was a significant language barrier as the victim had just arrived in the U-S and did not speak any English, which caused for a time delay in the reporting of the robbery. Officers attempted to get video surveillance but were unable. Officers also attempted to track the stolen iPhone, but the victim could not remember the username and password. Robbery was notified.
