#2020-349536/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 12-21-2020 at 0204 hours, officers were dispatched to an explosion. A female arrived at the victim’s RV and fired a pellet gun of some type at the victim striking him twice. The female’s boyfriend then threw a firework inside the RV. Both drove away in a blue minivan. There was minimal damage to the RV and the suspects were not located.
#2020-349564/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 12-21-2020 at 0350 hours, security called 911 reporting broken glass at the Target store. Officers arrived but no suspect was present. Officers later located the suspect matching the description and arrested him.
#2020-349860/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 12-21-2020 at 1208 hours, the victim came to the 9800 block of 49 AV S to sell the suspect a belt which was advertised on-line. The suspect put on the belt and then demanded the victim’s vehicle at knife-point. The victim was shoved to the ground and the suspect fled in a stolen vehicle. The suspect and the vehicle are at large.
#2020-336331/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 12-21-2020 at 1230 hours, robbery detectives developed probable cause to arrest a suspect for two armed robberies at drive up coffee stands in the SODO/Georgetown areas that occurred in early December 2020. Detectives located the suspect and SWAT conducted the arrest. SWAT also served a warrant at a residence associated with the suspect. The suspect was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of robbery.
#2020-350088/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 12-21-2020 at 1540 hours, a subject entered the Safeway store located near the 3800 blk of Rainier Av S and proceeded to shoplift merchandise. When he was confronted by store loss prevention, he threatened to kill them if they followed him outside and made a motion of being armed. Responding patrol officers located the subject a short distance away and found him to be armed with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun. Further, he was a previously convicted felon with an extensive criminal history. The subject was placed under arrest and later booked into the King County Jail.
#2020-350341/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 12-21-2020 at 2023 hours, East Precinct patrol officers located a suspicious vehicle near the 1000 block of S Weller St. The vehicle had no plates and the dashboard VIN plate was destroyed. After further investigation, the vehicle was found to be a verified stolen vehicle out of Kent PD. The sole occupant of the car was arrested and search of his person incident to arrest yielded illegal narcotics. Additional illegal narcotics were found in the vehicle during a search before impound. The suspect was booked into the King County Jail without incident.
