#2020-357203/East Precinct/Third Watch: 

On 12-31-2020 at 0014 hours, patrol officers responded to a business in the 1600 block of Nagle Pl for a report of property destruction. Officers spoke with the business owner who stated that windows were broken, and that the business was spray painted “We Strike”. The owner reported the incident occurred between 2330 and 2359 hours on 12/30. The business owner believes he was specifically targeted by ANTIFA because he supported the clean-up of Cal Anderson Park. There was a contingent of ANTIFA and/or Black Bloc roaming the area of Cal Anderson Park during the time the incident was believed to have occurred, however there are no specific suspects at this time. 

#2020-357242/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 12-31-2020 at 0214 hours, a silver sedan was southbound in the 6300 block of W Marginal Wy SW, when it left the roadway and collided with a red sedan in an adjacent driveway. The elderly couple in the red sedan sustained substantial injuries. The unknown driver of the silver sedan fled on foot. A K9 track was attempted, but containment was not possible due to an unrelated shooting in the same sector. The Traffic Collision Investigation Squad responded. 

#2020-357257/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 12-31-2020 at 0315 hours, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of S Director to investigate multiple shots fired from vehicles in the street. Officers arrived in area and vehicles were gone upon. Officers recovered evidence of a shooting from the scene. 

#2020-357309/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 12-31-2020 at 0549 hours, patrol responded to a report of a burglary in progress to a secure garage for an apartment building. Officers arrived and coordinated their approach, knowing this location to be associated with many similar crimes in the past. Officers were able to locate 2 suspects inside the garage and learned they had forced entry into the secured bicycle storage area within the garage. Both suspects were identified and booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary.
