Police responded to a fatal assault in the Rainier Valley Wednesday evening.
At 8:47 p.m. police responded to a 911 call in the 6000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South. Seattle Fire Department Medics also responded and transported a 29-year-old man to the hospital in critical condition. Medics continued life-saving measures during transport, but the victim was declared deceased at the hospital.
The Crime Scene Investigation unit responded and are processing the scene for evidence.
