Gun Recovered Following Ballard Road Rage Incident

Police arrested a 34-year-old man after he flashed a gun at another driver during a road rage incident in the Ballard neighborhood Saturday night.

A 44-year-old man called 911 at 11:30 PM to report that another driver had pointed a firearm at him during a road rage incident in the 1500 block of Northwest 80th Street.

Police arrived and spoke with the man who said that as he was driving, another car attempted to merge into the lane he was occupying. The victim honked his horn and continued to drive. The other driver passed the victim and flashed a handgun. The victim took note of the license plate and returned home to call police.

Officers went to the other vehicle’s registered owner’s home and spoke with a 34-year-old man who said a similar similar set of circumstances had happened.
