#2021-023988/South Precinct/First Watch:
On 01-31-2021 at 0417 hours, officers on-viewed an occupied suspicious vehicle driving without lights in a darkened lot behind a vacant business. Officers ran the plate and confirmed that it was a stolen vehicle. Officers conducted a high-risk vehicle stop and safely arrested the driver. Driver was identified and booked into the King County Jail and the vehicle was recovered.
#2021-25819/North Precinct/First Watch:
On 01-31-2021 at 0906 hours, officers responded to an assault call where a gun was fired. Officers contacted the victim (the shooter) who stated the suspect crossed the street and began assaulting him. The victim was punched multiple times in the head and rib areas. In fear for his life, he drew his concealed firearm and fired one shot. The assault suspect was located a block down the street with non-life-threatening injuries. The assault suspect was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
#2021-26062/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 01-31-2021 at 1531 hours, an elderly male was walking near his residence at 57 Av S/ S Beacon Av S. when two males came up from behind him, grabbed him by the neck and knocked him to the ground. They removed his wallet and began running. The victim followed the suspects on foot until he lost sight of them around 59 Av S and called 911. Patrol established containment thoroughly searching the area with negative results.
