#2021-029523/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 02-04-2021 at 1230 hours, two female acquaintances became involved in a physical altercation near the 4200 block of S Othello. During the fight, the suspect armed herself with a knife. The victim’s boyfriend tried to get between the two females and was stabbed near his left shoulder receiving a non-life-threatening wound. The male victim was treated at the scene and then transported to the hospital. The suspect was located nearby and positively identified. The knife was also recovered. The suspect was booked into the King County Jail.

#2021-29600/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 02-04-2021 at 2030 hours, a woman reported that she was robbed at knife point two days ago. Evidence revealed the suspect knocked on the victim’s door at the Morrison (DESC) while holding what appeared to be a knife. The suspect made her way inside and then stole a microwave and groceries. Officers located the suspect in the lobby and booked her into the King County Jail. Robbery unit notified.

#2021-029876/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 02-04-2021 at 2050 hours, Seattle Fire Department requested SPD assistance with traffic control for a RV fire at Elliott Av W / W Lee St. Officers closed Elliott Av W between W Prospect St and W Galer St for 50 minutes. The fire was caused by a propane heater that was running while the RV occupant slept. Fortunately, she woke up and got herself and her dog out of the RV uninjured. Media responded to scene and the PIO was notified. DOT advised that they would respond the following day for cleanup, and a private tow company would be removing the RV. Mobile Crisis Team responded to assist the RV occupant who was now without shelter.

#2021-29890/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 02-04-2021 at 2111 hours, two suspects armed with handguns entered a marijuana shop (which is a cash-only business), barged past the store clerks, and entered the office at the back of the building. They ordered the manager to open the safe and hand over cash. Upon exiting the business, the suspects entered a white SUV parked at the neighboring Shell station and fled the scene westbound. The Robbery Unit screened the incident.

#2021-30494/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 02-04-2021 at 2200 hours, the staff at a local church reported that on each of the past two nights someone has come into their parking lot and, using chopped-up hay, spelled out large offensive words towards a specific country/ethnic group. There were no overt threats and no actual property damage, however the staff and clergy are concerned the suspect may return or escalate their behavior. The church has collected evidence.
