SPD detectives and the US Marshal’s taskforce arrested a suspected gang member in Tacoma on Monday and seized a stolen handgun and six grams of cocaine.
Police arrested the 36-year-old man at a home in Tacoma in connection with an ongoing weapons violation investigation, and seized a vehicle, where police found the handgun and cocaine.
Investigators booked the man, who is a convicted felon and unable to legally possess firearms, into the King County Jail for unlawful possession of a firearm and a narcotics violation.
