#2021-038257/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 02-15-2021 at 0442 hours, officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at Seattle Supermarket, located at 4801 Beacon Ave S, Seattle, WA. The caller reported he observed two suspects inside the business. The caller further updated that the suspects were attempting to cut or weld metal fencing in order to exit the building and all alarm trips were occurring from the south end of the building. Arriving officers observed a suspect fleeing from the crime scene on foot and followed the suspect, who attempted to hide behind a residence on S Ferdinand St. An area search was conducted, and the suspect was located and arrested in the rear yard of residence. The suspect had stolen several business cash registers, currency, and a large number of cigarettes. The suspect was booked into the King County Jail on investigation of burglary. Officers cleared the victim business and confirmed that only one suspect was involved.

#2021-38287/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 02-15-2021 at 0555 hours, officers responded to a shots-fired call in the Georgetown neighborhood. Officers located evidence of the incident which showed a sedan parked, with an unknown male approaching it from the street. The male was holding a duffel bag. The vehicle occupants got out of the vehicle, walked up to the male and attempted to steal the duffel bag. After a brief struggle, one of the vehicle occupants pulled a handgun and fired towards the male. It did not appear that the male was struck. The male dropped the duffel bag and ran away. The vehicle occupants took the duffel bag and left in the vehicle. No victim located, an area check for the suspect vehicle was negative.

#2021-038431/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 02-15-2021, police responded to a homeless encampment along the walking trail at Green Lake, where a local Rabbi had been informed that a swastika had been spray painted on the outside of a tent. The tent was located and the person residing within that tent both refused to exit or identify himself. He said that the swastika was graffiti that someone else spray painted on his tent, but that he did not want to report the graffiti. He likewise said that he didn’t have the means to paint over it. However, S-DOT was contacted and was able to provide a tarp with which to cover the swastika.

#2021-038483/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

On 02-15-2021 at 1225 hours, two suspects entered the Rite-Aid located at 2600 SW Barton Street. The suspects were described as two males, thin build, 5’5″ and 5’10, both wearing dark clothing, and one carried a black Adidas gym bag. One of the suspects displayed a handgun. The suspects jumped the pharmacy counter and demanded oxycodone from the pharmacist. The clerk complied and provided the suspects with an unknown number of pills. Officers processed for evidence. Robbery responded to the scene, conducted interviews, and conducted a canvas of the area.

#2021-038580/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

On 02-15-2021 at 1437 hours, a patrol unit initiated a traffic stop on an older, 20-foot RV near Delridge Wy SW and SW Andover St. The adult male driver appeared to disregard the signals to stop and turned up the steep grade. The driver reversed down the hill, colliding with an occupied passenger vehicle and deploying its airbags before crossing the arterial and striking a petroleum tanker and then a pedestrian. The suspect driver fled on foot but was arrested a short time later. The adult male pedestrian sustained injuries thought to be substantial. Other injuries were minor. The Traffic Collision Investigation Squad responded. A Drug Recognition Expert evaluated the suspect and detected signs of impairment. The suspect was arrested for Vehicular Assault, Hit and Run, Eluding, VUCSA, and warrants.

#2021-033805/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 02-15-2021 at 2030 hours, two suspects entered a business located in area of 8000 1 AV South, Seattle WA. The suspects were armed and robbed the business before fleeing the scene. No suspects were captured. No injuries to the clerk. No known shots fired.
