#2021-38940/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 02-16-2021 at 0115 hours, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery call at a gas station in the Fremont area. Officers arrived and contacted the caller. The caller stated that an unknown male suspect entered the store and pulled a handgun out of a holster. The suspect then pointed the weapon at the caller and demanded cash and cigarettes. According to the caller, the suspect was wearing a mask and gloves. The caller stated that the suspect left on foot. Officers conducted an area check, but the suspect was not located.

#2021-39068/North Precinct/First Watch:

On 02-16-2021 at 0807 hours, a reporting party told officers that several days ago a man allegedly threatened to harm a woman’s dog because it was off leash. The suspect then threatened the dog owner and called her a racial slur. The victim believes that this was a racially motivated threat. The suspect was not at home and not located. An alert was emailed to Bias Crimes, Violent Crimes, Public Information Officers.

#2021-039571/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 02-16-2021 at 1916 hours, the suspect (who is a friend of the victim) charged and tackled him, repeatedly punched him in the face, then demanded all his property. The suspect then removed the victim’s keys and a box cutter from his pocket and fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The victim declined medical attention for the lacerations to his face and forearm, and the road-rash on his fingers. Officers conducted an extensive area check but met with negative results.
