Seattle police are investigating after a man reportedly attacked a jogger in Lake City on February 17th.
Around 5:45 AM, a woman was jogging in the 13500 block of 35th Avenue Northeast when she ran past a man standing on the street. The man followed the woman for almost a mile before he threw something over her head and pushed her into bushed near the 12300 block of Sand Point Way.
A witness saw the attack and intervened, and the suspect fled northbound on Sand Point Way.
Officers searched the area after the incident but were unable to locate the suspect.
The victim said the man who attacked her was 5’8, wearing a blue face mask, a dark-colored jacket with green sleeves and an orange hood, a white hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
