#2021-80991/East Precinct/First Watch:

On 04-04-2021 at 0402 hours a 911 call came in of a male walking into Swedish 1st hill with gunshot injuries. Victim stated he was shot at a club in Tacoma off 54th St, then drove to his girl’s house in 400 blk 25th Ave in Seattle, who then drove him to Swedish. Victim was then transferred to Harborview Medical Center. He was alert and conscious in stable condition. Victim identifies as out of Compton but has been in and out of Seattle since the 80’s. Tacoma PD was contacted and stated that there had been shots fired in the listed area. No scene was located in Seattle and no other reports of shots have been made as of this report. A Gun Violence Reduction Unit officer was augmenting today and responded and took primary.

#2021-81148/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 04-04-2021 at 1049 hours, officers responded to Delridge WY SW/SW Cambridge St for a female who reported that she was just threatened with a firearm at the 9400 BLK of 18 Ave SW. The female and the suspect know each other, and they got in a disagreement over a jacket. The suspect became angry and pulled out a 9mm handgun from his fanny pack. The suspect walked towards the female, and she fled the area out of fear and had someone else call 911. The suspect never pointed the firearm at the female. Officers quickly arrived and conducted an area search. The suspect was located and arrested for unlawful use of weapon to intimidate another. The suspect is a convicted felon, so he was booked at the King County Jail for unlawful possession of a firearm.

#2021-81255/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-04-2021 at 1336 hours, victim 1 was standing on the sidewalk outside his apt building. Suspect 1 attempted an armed robbery of victim 1 by pointing a firearm at him. Victim 1 fled back into his building and locked himself in his apartment. Suspect 1 fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. Area search was negative.

#2021-081280/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-04-2021 at 1415 hours, an SPD officer on-viewed a disturbance in the parking lot of a business located in the 2600 block of SW Barton St. After a brief investigation, officers determined that the 56-year-old female victim had her purse snatched. The victim fought back to keep her purse but was shoved to the ground by the male suspect. The victim suffered injuries to her neck but declined to be transported to the hospital. Officers located and arrested the suspect who still had the victim’s property. The suspect was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of robbery. SPD robbery was advised of this incident.

#2021-81283/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-04-2021 at 1530 hours, officers responded a fast back for Seattle Fire at 16th Ave/E Yesler Way. Upon arrival the officer quickly determined that he had Probable Cause for Malicious Mischief as the suspect caused significant damage to a medic unit by punching and kicking it with medics inside of the ambulance. The suspect approached the officer and ignored the officer’s commands to stop and put his hands on the rig. After several attempts at de-escalation the suspect with his hands behind his back told the officer no, when asked to turn around. The suspect took a bladed stance and lunged at the officer striking him once in the side of the head. The officer was able to block the suspect’s kicks which caused the suspect to lose his balance. The officer went hands-on with the suspect and along with medics took the suspect to the ground. He was placed into handcuffs and placed under arrest for Assault 3 and Malicious Mischief.

#2021-081577/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 04-04-2021 at 2131 hours, officers responded to the report of a person passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle. Officers contacted the subject who was still behind the wheel when they arrived. Officers observed catalytic converters, reciprocating saw tools, and a 2k vehicle jack in plain view inside the vehicle. The driver was arrested for DUI physical control and possession of stolen property. Patrol supervisors attempted to contact Major Crimes Task Force regarding the catalytic converters, as well as a cache of tools that were also likely stolen property. After execution of the DUI blood draw the subject was booked into the King County Jail for possession of stolen property. A DUI packet was forwarded to the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad.

#2021-081606/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 04-04-2021 at 2220 hours, a male victim reported that he was driving southbound on Rainier AV S at S Dearborn ST when he heard a loud boom. The victim continued southbound until he saw officers and then stopped to report the incident. The officers discovered that a single bullet had entered the front passenger side door of the victim’s vehicle. The victim was not injured. Officers returned to the location indicated by the victim but were unable to locate any evidence.
