#2021-086510/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04/10/2021 at 1134 hours, a tanker truck carrying human waste was making a left hand turn from NW 103 St to travel northbound on 3 Av NW, when the contents of the tanker sloshed so heavily to one side that the tanker truck tipped onto its side, hitting a telephone pole before coming to a stop, knocking down power lines, and spilling waste onto the street. There were no injuries. Seattle Fire, Seattle City Light, and S-DOT responded to the scene, which was taped-off to keep pedestrians from the waste and downed wires. Traffic was rerouted accordingly. This matter is ongoing.

#2021-086761/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-10-2021 at 1728 hours, an unknown van departed the southbound lanes of the roadway in the 2400 block of Aurora Av N, striking a pedestrian on the sidewalk, before returning to the road and exiting at Dexter Av N and fleeing the scene. The adult male pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries. The Traffic Collision Investigation Squad responded.

#2021-86849/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-10-2021 at 1905 hours, officers responded to 911 calls of multiple gunshots being heard in the vicinity of 4700 block of 26th Ave SW. Upon arrival to the area officers were able to locate evidence of a shooting along with a bullet-riddled vehicle parked unoccupied in the ally way of 26th Ave SW (just west of Delridge Way SW). Officers conducted an extensive area search within the neighborhood with negative results or contacts with injured persons. Officers located victim of damaged vehicle who relayed that she had just purchased the vehicle and would not know who would have wanted to do this to her car. Gun Violence Reduction Unit detectives arrived on scene and along with patrol officers processed scene and for recovery of evidence. Investigation continued by GVR Unit.
