#2021-089063/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 04-13-2021 at 0100 hours, a male victim located a hand-written note on his door that contained bias language directed at his race telling him to move out. The victim believes the suspect is a neighbor in a nearby apartment due to past bias incidents between the two. The suspect was contacted and denied writing the note. The note was impounded into evidence and the victim obtained a No Contact Order.

#2021-088699/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 04-13-2021 at 0405 hours, a single vehicle collided with a tree in the 600 Block of S Lucile St. The passenger most likely sustained two fractures to her right leg. Seattle Fire responded and the passenger was subsequently transported to the hospital. The driver was uninjured. No impairment was suspected. The Traffic Collision Investigation Squad was notified.

#2021-088944/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 04-13-2021 at 0703, officers responded to a report of a theft of a license plate from a white van. The caller observed the suspect put the plate on his own white van and drive away. Officers responded to a nearby theft of a white van and immediately realized the events were related. A short time later, officers located the stolen van with the stolen license plate parked behind a second stolen vehicle, a green Ford F150. The suspects associated with the van fled on foot, with the driver being taken into custody. The green F150 was also occupied and that suspect was taken into custody. Property from the stolen van (miscellaneous construction equipment) had been loaded into the F150. Major Crimes Task Force detectives were called out to interview the in-custody suspects and will handle all follow-up on this case.

#2021-89266/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-13-2021 at 1445 hours, 3 subjects were arguing at 12th and Weller. One of the subjects (now suspect) pulled out a knife and stabbed the other subject in the chest. The victim ran northbound to get assistance. The suspect and other involved subject walked northbound on 12th. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. An area check was negative for the suspect. This incident was screened by Homicide.

#2021-089332/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-13-2021 at 1508 hours, a juvenile male victim was walking NB on Broadway near the light rail station when he was approached by two adult males. The males asked the juvenile for $20. The juvenile male took out his wallet and gave the suspect asking a $20 bill. At this point the other male who was much larger also asked for $20. The juvenile told him that the $20 he had already given was for them both. The larger suspect then punched the male in his face multiple times and took the wallet with remaining money in it from him. When a witness tried to intervene to protect the victim both suspects jumped on light rail and fled southbound on it. Officers searched the area but could not locate the suspects.

#2021-89404/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-13-2021 at 1624 hours, officers responded to a report of multiple shots fired in the vicinity of the Aurora corridor, in an area of heavy prostitution activity. When officers arrived, they located evidence of a shooting in the street. According to witnesses, male occupants of two separate vehicles were involved in a physical altercation in the middle of a side street that escalated when shots were fired. The male suspects drove away in different vehicles. A nearby woman also left the area in one of the vehicles. Initial reports were that she may have been shot, but another witness reported that she ran to one of the vehicles after the shots were fired. There was no evidence of anyone being hit and no area hospitals reported any gunshot victims. Officers were unable to locate either vehicle. The incident was screened with Gun Violence Reduction Unit detectives.

#2021-89428/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-13-2021 at 1659 hours, an unknown male, armed with a rifle and handgun, walked into a bank and demanded money. At one point the suspect fired a round into the ceiling. The suspect fled with some cash in an unknown vehicle. Robbery responded and will assume follow-up responsibilities. CSI responded and successfully recovered the bullet from the ceiling.

#2021-089537/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 04-13-2021 at 1900 hours, an unknown suspect phoned in a bomb threat demanding money from a local business. A short time later, in the middle of a nearby intersection, the suspect parked a vehicle, then told several people that the car was a bomb, while pouring an unknown liquid into the car causing it to catch fire. The suspect then fled the area on foot. Patrol responded, requested the Arson Bomb Squad, and set up a perimeter as Seattle Fire extinguished the car fire. ABS Detectives examined the car and determined that it was no longer a hazard. ABS will handle the on-going investigation.

#2021-089564/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 04-12-2021 at 1932 hours, a male victim sustained multiple stab wounds to his torso, arms, and face. The victim was unable to speak and there were no independent witnesses to the incident. Building Management has been contacted in reference to obtaining evidence. The victim, who is currently in surgery, is listed in critical condition. The incident was screened with the Homicide Unit.
