One man was shot in Lake City Thursday evening, and a second gunshot victim arrived at a nearby hospital shortly after the shooting.
Just after 8:00 p.m., police were dispatched to the 12500 block of 27th Avenue Northeast for reports that a man had been shot. Police arrived and found a single victim at an RV with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. Seattle Fire Department Medics also responded and began treating the 28-year-old man. SFD Medics transported him to the hospital in stable condition.
According to witnesses, the suspect approached the victim’s RV and fired a single shot at the victim through the open door.
Approximately 15 minutes later, a nearby hospital reported a second gunshot victim had arrived at the emergency room in a personal vehicle. The victim did not immediately provide information about how or where he was shot. Detectives currently believe the two incidents may be related, but that will be determined as the active investigation continues.
