#2021-152054/West Precinct/Third Watch: On 6-19-2021 at 0012 hours, officers responded to a report of a female subject who reportedly attempted to stab two people. Officers responded and arrested the woman.  

#2021-152146/West Precinct/Third Watch: On 6-19-2021 at 0227 hours, North Precinct officers were dispatched to an assault at Yesler Way and Dilling Way, near Pioneer Square, due to significant call load citywide. The victim reported being assaulted while being called a disparaging racial term. He believed the assault was race motivated. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. There were fortunately no significant injuries.  

#2021-152152/ North Precinct/ Third Watch: On 6-19-2021 at 0239 hours, officers received reports of a drive-by shooting in the area of the Seattle Inn, 12035 Aurora Ave. N. Officers responded and located a firearm in the parking lot.  

#2021-152089/West Precinct/ Third Watch: On 6-19-2021 at 0056 hours, Seattle Pacific University security contacted a naked man in the 200 block of Nickerson Street. While security was speaking with the man he suddenly charged at a passing vehicle, as if attempting to attack the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle slowed down to approximately 10 miles per hour, as the subject slammed himself into the vehicle’s driver side mirror. The subject fell backward striking his head against the pavement. The subject suffered a significant head injury and was transported to the hospital. The subject had life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was cooperated with the investigation.  

#2021-152428/North Precinct/Second Watch: On 6-19-2021 at 1133 hours, unknown suspect(s) damaged a Pride sign that was near the sidewalk and drew pictures of male genitalia using chalk on the victim’s vehicle. The victim identifies as LGTBQ and felt they were targeted due to their LGTBQ status. 

#2021-152633/West Precinct/Second Watch: On 06-19-2021 at 1550 hours, a suspect who had just reviewed a flyer from a group of street preachers returned to the preachers (along with an adult female and a 5 year old child) and confronted them about their ideology, calling it “Bullshit” among other things. The preachers tried to speak to him but gave up and told him to leave. The suspect grabbed the female’s purse and pulled out a pistol and fired at least 5 rounds-none of which hit anyone but a window across the street was shot out. The preachers tackled and wrestled with the suspect briefly, during which a huge tuft of beard hair was torn off. The suspects and their child fled the area despite an area search. Evidence of a shooting was recovered.

#2021-152823/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch: On 6-19-2021 at 1840 hours, a suspect entered a business in the area of 16th Avenue Southwest and Southwest Holden Street and committed a robbery. 

#2021-152978/North Precinct/Third Watch: On 6-19-2021 at 2222 hours, the victim parked their vehicle in an alley to unpack and move into their new apartment. The suspect who lives in the apartment complex on the other side of the alley, un-provokingly started to throw eggs, bottle, and canned goods at the victim’s vehicle causing damage. The suspect did so while yelling derogatory racial comments to the victim.  

#2021-153068/West Precinct/Third Watch: On 6-19-2021 at 2349 hours, a security officer approached a vehicle that was parked in front of the business the security officer hired to protect. The security officer was attempting to move the vehicle and occupant away from the front of the business, per the request of his employer. When the security officer knocked on the driver’s window the driver rolled the window down and pepper sprayed the security officer. The security officer fired one round at the driver, striking the driver in the left shoulder. The vehicle driver sped away and was located by East Precinct officers at a nearby service station. The driver was sent to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The security officer remained at the scene and cooperated with this investigation.
