#2021-150050/East Precinct/ Third Watch: On 6-17-2021 at 0115 hours, officers were in the area of 23rd Avenue South and South Jackson Street when they heard multiple gunshots. They also heard several vehicles fleeing the area. Officers located a crime scene at 23 Avenue South and South Cherry Street. Two possible vehicles involved fled the scene.  

#2021-150067/West Precinct/First Watch: On 6-17-2021 at 0154 hours, an adult male was stabbed near Victor Steinbrueck Park. Pike Place Market security called 911 when they observed the victim walking out of the park with a severe stab wound to his upper abdominal area. The victim was alert, conscious, and uncooperative with officers. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center by Seattle Fire.  

#2021-150053/South Precinct/Third Watch: On 6-17-2021 at 0117 hours, officers responded to reports of five to 10 gunshots in the 2800 block of South Columbian Way. Officers located an unoccupied suspect vehicle nearby, which had been abandoned after colliding with a parked vehicle and a street sign. Officers located an empty pistol holster, near the scene of the collision.  

#2021-150736/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch: On 6-17-2021 at 1723 hours, callers reported a disturbance in the 9400 block of 13th Avenue Southwest. One vehicle was blocking in the other. Secondary reports advised one of the individuals had a handgun and people had been pepper sprayed. Officers arrived shortly after and through the investigation learned the following: the driver of the vehicle that was blocked in exited his vehicle and began punching his ex-girlfriend in the face (who was in vehicle number two), he then pistol whipped her. She produced a can of pepper spray and sprayed him to stop the assault. The suspect grabbed the can away from her and sprayed her in the face. Right before police arrived the gun was thrown into the second vehicle. The owner of the second vehicle allowed officers to search her car and the firearm was discovered inside. It turned out to be a stolen handgun with an extended magazine. The suspect was arrested. 

#2021-150851/South Precinct/Third Watch: On 6-17-2021 at 1930 hours, patrol officers responded to the vicinity of the 2800 block of South Hanford Street in response to a suspicious circumstance. Upon arrival, police learned the victim had been assaulted and that her 10-month-old had been taken. Officers subsequently conducted an almost 11-hour investigation. The investigation culminated in the safe recovery of the infant and the apprehension of the suspect. The child was returned to his mother and the suspect was booked into the King County Jail. The associated Amber Alert was rescinded.
