On 06-23-2021 at 1921 hours, officers responded to a report of multiple people shot, in the 7900 block of 50th Ave S. Before officers arrived, two of the victims were transported out of the area in two privately owned vehicles. One of these vehicles (red Lexus) was involved in a hit and run collision as it left the scene. Officers arrived to find one adult male victim, with a gunshot wound (GSW) to his leg. Officers rendered medical aid until relieved by Seattle Fire. The two other adult male victims arrived at Harborview Medical Center (HMC) in a silver Jeep and a red Lexus. The Jeep left the area, but officers were able to secure the red Lexus, which contained a visible firearm on the driver side floorboard. These victims were admitted into the ER for possible life-threatening injuries (GSWs to the back and neck). The on-scene investigation indicated that the group of victims (and possibly others), were gathered outside a residence when the occupants of an unknown vehicle fired multiple rounds at them. Based on limited cooperation, no suspect information was obtained. Gun Violence Reduction Unit (GVRU) Detectives responded to the shooting scene and HMC. The incident was screened with the Homicide Unit. GVRU Detectives eventually processed the shooting scene and impounded the red Lexus, pending service of a search warrant. As of this report, two of the victims remain in critical, but stable condition.
