#2021-192789/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 07-28-2021 at 1205 hours, officers responded to 45/University for a report of a suspect assaulting a woman. Additionally, the suspect flipped over a baby stroller with the woman’s child inside. Officers arrived and quickly developed probable cause to arrest. Officers located the suspect in an alley nearby and took him into custody. Both the woman and the child were uninjured as bystanders intervened as the suspect was assaulting them. As of this writing the suspect’s identity has not been confirmed.

#2021-192790/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 07-28-2021 at 1205 hours, officers responded to the report of threats in the 200 block of Alaskan WY S. Officers contacted the victim who reported the suspect brandished a knife and threatened to kill him. When effecting the arrest, the suspect attempted to flee and assaulted officers. Officers gained control of the suspect, who eventually was taken into custody. Suspect was transported to Harborview Medical Center prior to being booked into King County Jail. Type II Use of Force Investigation being completed.

#2021-193119/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 07-28-2021 at 1936 hours, an officer responded to the 6400 block of 31st Ave SW for a gun-related property damage call. The victim reported he had parked his vehicle at the above location at 1200 hours the previous day. On today’s date at 1700 hours, the victim drove to the White Center area to buy groceries, and when he returned home, the victim noticed a bullet hole in his rear driver’s side door. The bullet passed through his driver’s side door and lodged in the rear passenger side door. The bullet was collected for evidence. Unknown where the shots were fired.

#2021-175919/South Precinct/Third Watch:

A detective had been investigating a burglary where a $100,000 Porsche, a Rolex, multiple access devices, and other items were stolen. Suspects returned the next day and stole another vehicle from the same victim. The detective was able to get two suspects identified after they used the access devices at multiple locations. The suspects have also been identified as having committed several burglaries throughout the City of Seattle the last couple weeks. The detective has been coordinating with officers on getting the suspects into custody. On 07/28/2021, the suspects were identified as committing a burglary in Southwest Precinct where another vehicle was stolen. Officers were able to safely get one of the suspects into custody and recover the vehicle from the burglary that had occurred in the morning of 07/28/2021. The detective interviewed the suspect and was able to get valuable information that will assist in this ongoing investigation. One suspect is still outstanding. Also, the $100,000 Porsche has not been located at this time.

#2021-193334/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 07-28-2021 at 2346 hours, four male suspects, two of which brandished guns, confronted a male victim. The victim tripped and fell when the guns were pointed in his face, at which time the suspects forcibly removed car keys from the victim’s pocket. The suspect then fled the scene in the victim’s black, 1998 Toyota Avalon. The area checked negative for the suspects or the victim’s vehicle.
