#2021-246490/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 09-19-2021 at 0226 hours, officers responded to a disturbance near the intersection of California Ave SW / SW Alaska St. Multiple extremely intoxicated people were arguing. During the altercation one individual used racially biased language that did not appear to be directed toward any specific person. The involved parties were separated and eventually left the area.

#2021-246733/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 09-19-2021 at 1030 hours, a three-year-old child was on the third floor in the bedroom playing on the bed located at the 9400 BLK of 27 Ave SW. The mother was inside the apartment cooking. While playing on the bed, the child fell through the window screen and struck the ground. Seattle Fire responded and transported the child to Harborview Medical Center with a possible fractured femur. Officers didn’t find any evidence of a crime. A witness who saw the incident was contacted, and he spoke with officers on scene.

#2021-246861/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 09-19-2021 at 1302 hours, officers responded to the 800 Block of Taylor Ave N for a reported shooting. The suspect was cooperative and explained that his shotgun discharged through the wall and into his neighbor’s apartment when he moved it. No one was injured. The suspect was arrested for reckless endangerment, identified, and released at the scene. The gun was seized as evidence.

#2021-246792/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 09-19-2021 at 1310 hours, a suspect entered the Big 5 sporting goods store. Inside, he began trying on shoes and speaking to himself “in different languages.” He selected approximately $200 in merchandise before heading towards the exit. Loss Prevention attempted to stop him on his way out, but he brandished a knife that was approximately 8″ long to keep them away. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspect.

#2021-247028/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 09-19-2021 at 1640 hours, officers responded to Westlake Ave N and Roy St regarding an assault / firearm brandishing incident. There was an altercation between the suspect and victim while they were driving. The suspect threw a cup of coffee at the victim. The victim threw a water bottle at the suspect. They briefly separated then reengaged at another location out of their vehicles. Suspect threw a wrench at the victim, hitting him in the leg. Victim armed himself with a tire iron. The suspect un-holstered his pistol, held at his side. More words were exchanged, and police called. Suspect left in his vehicle and was located a short time later by officers. Officers established Probable Cause for the arrest. Suspect was taken into custody without incident. Handgun was recovered and seized as evidence.

#2021-247304/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 09-19-2021 at 2208 hours, a victim arrived at Harborview Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg. Victim claimed he was shot somewhere on Beacon Hill while driving. Victim declined to provide any further information. Gun Violence Reduction Unit was notified.
