#2021-281897/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-24-2021 at 0149 hours, officers responded to the 9200 Block of SW Barton ST for a shots-fired call. On arrival, officers located an unknown male subject with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen. Officers were unable to get any information from the victim due to his agitated state. Victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center. Evidence of a shooting was located on the sidewalk. Screened with Gun Violence Reduction Unit. Patrol processed the scene.

#2021-281938/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 10-24-2021 at 0307 hours, the victim was standing outside an RV at the 7800 BLK of 1 Ave S. The victim stated that a suspect drove up in a white Ford sedan and shot him once. Officers arrived and canvassed the area for witnesses and evidence but didn’t locate any. Officers initially had very little information about the shooting, but later in the morning an officer assigned at the hospital with the victim was able to speak to him and get additional information. Homicide was notified. Gun Violence Reduction Unit will also be notified.

#2021-282307/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 10-24-2021 at 1407 hours, two subjects were stabbed just inside the foyer of a Low-Income Housing Institute (LIHI) apartment building in the 1400 block of 3rd Ave. They called for help. Officers found the two victims with stab wounds in their backs and secured the scene for Seattle Fire to treat and transport them. Both had serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Witness and victim testimony ID’d a resident of the building as the assailant. Officers formed a contact team and contacted the suspect at his apartment. He opened his door to talk to officers and was arrested without incident. The weapon was not located.

#2021-282518/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 10-24-2021 at 1616 hours, officers responded to a report of a stabbing at the King County Metro Transit Station (100 Broadway). The victim in this incident told officers that he observed an adult male down on the tracks looking for items and he warned the male not to get hit or delay the light rail. The victim said this made the suspect angry and he jumped back up on the platform to swing at the victim. The victim avoided the swing but said the suspect took out a knife and slashed him across the face with it. The suspect then fled from the transit station and a witness called 911. The victim was transported to a local hospital by one of his friends and sustained a deep cut requiring multiple stitches. Officers began searching the area for the suspect, but he was not located. No canine units were available. Officers recovered a large suitcase with items left behind by the suspect and placed it and its contents into evidence. King County Sheriff Deputies responded to the scene a short time later and assisted officers.

#2021-282750/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-24-2021 at 2043 hours, officers were dispatched to the 10000 blocks of Rainier Av S. to investigate someone firing gunshots out of a vehicle window. One Reporting Party (RP) provided the suspect vehicle description to 911 call taker. While driving to the scene, an officer observed the suspect vehicle driving NB on Rainier and attempted to pull the vehicle over. The vehicle quickly fled. No crime scene, no victim, and no witnesses located.
