#2021-285032/North Precinct/First Watch:

On 10-27-2021 at 0813 hours, a suspect walked into a store and demanded a refund for a bad part. Employees stated they did not have a replacement part. Suspect then demanded all the money in the drawer. Suspect had his hand in his waistband and stated he had a gun. Employees complied and gave the suspect all the money in the drawer. Suspect took the money and left the store. Suspect left in a vehicle.

#2021-285491/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 10-27-2021 at 1650 hours, officers responded to a report of numerous shots being heard near Rainier Av S/ S Fisher Pl. Arriving officers found evidence of a shooting at the scene. There was bullet damage to three vehicles and a building. Witnesses described the suspects as randomly firing into the air and fleeing in a dark Lincoln Town car or brown Marquis.

#2021-285531/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 10-27-2021 at 1727 hours, officers heard 5-6 shots in the area of 2 Ave and Pine St. They responded to the area and interviewed witnesses. Evidence of a shooting was located and recovered. According to witnesses, a male suspect was standing at the entrance to the alley in the 200 block of Pine St when the suspect began shooting. There was some dispute as to whether the suspect fired into the air or fired at a passing vehicle. The suspect then fled southbound in the alley and was last seen entering a parking garage. A few minutes later a Black Lincoln was seen exiting the garage. No damage and no victims were located. One witness stated that a red sedan was seen driving by the shooter while he was firing. This red sedan was located at 8/Pine by officers. A handgun was seen in plain view in the vehicle. A separate investigation into the red sedan was conducted.

#2021-285683/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 10-27-2021 at 1734 hours, officers in the area of shots fired noticed a red sedan occupied by two people who immediately pulled off the road and appeared suspicious. A short time later a description of a vehicle possibly involved came over radio as a red sedan. Officer reacquired the red sedan, now parked and unoccupied. Officers looked inside the parked red sedan and saw a firearm on the driver’s side floorboard. A check of the vehicle located a registered owner (RO) who is a felon, and the picture matched the person officers saw driving the vehicle. While doing the investigation the RO returned to the car and was arrest for VUFA. The RO gave consent to search the vehicle and a loaded handgun was recovered from the driver’s side floorboard. Suspect was arrested for VUFA. Media Unit and Gun Violence Reduction Unit notified.

#2021-285738/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 10-27-2021 at 2118 hours, a male entered the Safeway located in the 4700 block of 42nd AVE SW, stealing three large containers of laundry detergent. This suspect was confronted by loss prevention and subsequently displayed a handgun concealed in his waistband. Loss prevention backed away and the male left the area in a green sedan with the merchandise. Area check was negative.
