#2021-306766/East Precinct/First Watch:
On 11-19-2021 at 0830 hours, the Gun Violence Reduction Unit, Narcotics, CRG, and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force conducted an operation to arrest a suspect for federal narcotics trafficking and weapons violations. CRG arrested him without incident and impounded his vehicle. CRG and detectives then served a search warrant at his Kent apartment, where they seized methamphetamine, ammunition, and firearm accessories. Detectives then served a search warrant on his vehicle and recovered a semi-automatic pistol and counterfeit COVID vaccination cards. The suspect was booked into the Federal Detention Center on a variety of federal charges.
#2021-307218/North Precinct/Second Watch:
On 11-19-2021 at 1616 hours, a suspect entered a bank in the 7300 block of 35 Ave NE and handed the teller a note demanding money. Teller gave the suspect a quantity of money and he left S/B on foot. Multiple officers arrived in the area, but the suspect was not located. Incident and scene processed by patrol officers. Screened with Robbery Unit.
#2021-307304/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 11-19-2021 at 1754 hours, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 9000 block of 46 AV S. No one had been injured, but a home in the area received bullet damage. One bullet penetrated through several layers of the house coming close to a resident inside the home. Evidence of a shooting was located. The only description of the outstanding suspect(s) was a dark sedan. Officers processed the scene.
#2021-307338/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 11-19-2021 at 1900 hours, we received intel about a demonstration in Cal Anderson Park starting at 1900. “Seattle Solidarity with Kenosha Rally.” One local subject posted, “Every City Every town burn your precinct to the ground.” Another local subject has posted about being prepared for a not guilty verdict by “peeing in a jug in preparation for having something substantial to throw at the cops.” We eventually saw a group size of about 75 people all dressed in black attire with helmets, shields, face coverings and protective eyewear. After only about 20 minutes, they began marching. Due to the size of the group and small number of officers, Task force was called up and staged in the East PCT. CRG monitored the group while they marched for about 2 hrs. No arrests were made, and no significant property damage occurred.
#2021-307531/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 11-19-2021 at 2243 hours, 9-1-1 callers reported hearing gunshots near the Chase bank in the 7100 block of M L King Jr Way S. Responding officers located evidence of a shooting and debit card in the ATM drive thru. Witnesses reported seeing a male limping away from the area just after the shots were heard. Officers located the subject on foot, and he was uninjured. He reported that he was not involved in the shooting incident, and he reported hearing the shots and seeing a small silver hatchback car fleeing the area at high speed.
