#2021-307745/East Precinct/First Watch:
On 11-20-2021 at 0703 hours. officers responded to a reported car fire on a city street 1300-Hubbell Pl. Seattle Fire and a fire marshal responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. SPD officers on scene discovered that there was evidence that showed the suspect break out a vehicle window and then throw something inside at which time the vehicle shortly became engulfed in flames. Incident screened, requested that fire marshal return to scene based on new evidence. Fire marshal returned and screened with SPD’s Arson Bomb Squad, which did not respond to scene. No other property damage was reported.
#2021-308030/East Precinct/Second Watch:
On 11-20-2021 at 1501 hours, this incident started with the suspect having an argument with an individual in a gas station at 23 AV E and E Cherry ST. During the argument, the suspect punched the victim in the head, knocking him unconscious for approximately 10 minutes. The suspect then went north for several blocks to a family friend’s house and confronted the family friend for no apparent reason. This incident led to the suspect threatening to kill the victim and he proceeded to assault the victim by spitting and throwing objects at her. The suspect then ran away to a different block where he got into another confrontation with bystanders in the area. This confrontation led the suspect to threaten to kill more victims, assault another person, rob a victim of her dog, then hit the dog with its own leash. The suspect then went to another location nearby and confronted a homeowner. During the altercation, the suspect grabbed a hammer from the homeowner and swung it repeatedly at the homeowner and his husband. During this time, responding officers were trying to catch up with the amount of 911 calls this suspect generated. Ultimately, the suspect was located and taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. The suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail for 3 counts of felony harassment, 2 counts of robbery, 1 count of felony harassment, 1 count of animal cruelty, 2 counts of misdemeanor assault, and 1 count of misdemeanor harassment.
#2021-308172/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 11-20-2021 at 1822 hours, the Reporting Party (RP) advised he momentarily stepped out of his vehicle, and a group of 6-7 teens he had observed in the area approached and demanded the keys. One of the suspects placed what appeared to be a taser on his chest but did not deploy it. The other suspects grabbed at the victim and attempted to pull him away from the vehicle, but he stood his ground and avoided the robbery. The suspects ultimately fled the scene when the victim began yelling for assistance.
#2021-308187/North Precinct/Second Watch:
On 11-20-2021 at 1848 hours, a victim was in the Northgate Nordstrom Rack Parking lot sitting in her car when a male opened her car door. Suspect displayed a handgun and pulled victim out of car by her arm. Victim said three other male suspects were standing next to the vehicle as well. One of the suspects walked from the passenger side and pointed a handgun at her too while another suspect began rooting through her car. Suspects stole her purse and cell phone and ran south bound towards apartment buildings. Purse was later recovered but empty. Victim said the suspects were very young and she did not believe the handguns were real. Incident screened with Robbery Sgt.
#2021-308434/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 11-20-2021 at 2330 hours, officers were making a physical arrest of a subject. The suspect fought with officers and tried to escape. The officers took the suspect into custody and were required to use Type 2 Use of Force to do so. The suspect bit an officer without breaking the skin and kicked the other officer causing a minor injury. On duty notified. Suspect booked into King County Jail.
