#2021-316177/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-30-2021 at 0021 hours, officers responded to a shots call in the 700 Block of S Trenton ST. Officers learned the caller heard approximately four shots from outside her residence. Based on evidence, it appears the suspect(s) drove by in a silver sedan and shot into the air. Evidence of a shooting was located and recovered. No damage to property was discovered. Incident screened with Gun Violence Reduction Unit. Patrol processed the scene.

#2021-316212/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 11-30-2021 at 0354 hours, officers received a report that a Seattle public high school student made repeated threats to bomb/shoot two area high schools via a social media platform. Officers contacted Seattle Public Schools and, at their request, provided security at the high schools. Officers coordinated with Intel to locate and arrest the suspect in Burien. The suspect was booked into YSC for Malicious Harassment.

#2021-316416/North Precinct/First Watch:

On 11-30-2021 at 0849 hours, a male suspect from earlier contacts (21-316235 and 21-316277), who had voluntarily gone to the hospital for mental health treatment, walked away and unlawfully entered a stranger’s house and picked up a kitchen knife. The homeowner hid in a room and fled the house when the opportunity arose. The suspect went onto the back porch and occasionally put the knife to his own throat or across his wrists, not sustaining any injury in the process. Patrol and Hostage Negotiation Team/Crisis Response Team talked the male into putting the knife down and walking down the deck stairs where he was arrested for burglary. SWAT arrived just prior to the male’s surrender.

#2021-316567/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 11-30-2021 at 1215 hours, multiple officers and supervisor responded to the area of Rainier Beach High School regarding a report of a suspect brandishing a handgun at a student. During the investigation, the female victim reported that the suspect was a male student at the same school. The female victim refused to speak directly to officers and ultimately would not positively ID the suspect. This incident was documented for possible criminal charges and the school will conduct its own emergency expulsion of the involved student. The suspect was not located at this time.

#2021-316588/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 11-30-2021 at 1238 hours, officers responded to a male stabbing victim near an encampment in the 4200 block of 36 AV S. Witnesses reported hearing the male arguing with a female before the assault. The female suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. The male was treated at the scene by Seattle Fire and then transported to the hospital for further medical care. The identity of the outstanding female suspect is not confirmed. Incident screened with Homicide.

#2021-316617/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 11-30-2021 at 1312 hours, officers responded to a tiny home village in the 1000 block of S Myrtle regarding a report of one shot fired. Officers made contact with a resident who had armed himself with a handgun and confronted someone he believed recently burglarized him. An apparent disturbance resulted, during which the resident claimed the possible burglar pulled out a knife. The resident said he tried to strike the burglar on the head instead of shooting him, but accidently discharged the weapon instead. The resident was not arrested at the time as the possible burglar/victim never came forth and there was no solid witness information to disprove the resident’s account. The elements of this incident were documented for review.

#2021-316977/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-30-2021 at 2056 hours, the manager of a motel was assaulted with a metal pipe by a tenant. No serious injuries. The tenant barricaded himself in his room. Officers set up containment and tried to communicate with no success. SWAT was notified and responded. Upon realizing SWAT was there the suspect gave up and was taken into custody without incident. Patrol wrote a warrant and retrieved the weapon from inside the room. The suspect was booked into King County Jail.

#2021-317022/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-30-2021 at 2210 hours, a suspect was inside a smoke shop bothering a female employee. His action made the female uncomfortable. Another male employee and some customers came to her aid and asked the suspect to leave. The suspect yelled at everyone and wanted to fight them. The suspect left the store for a brief moment then came back with a handgun. Employees and customers called 911 and provided the suspect description to the police. As the suspect was leaving the store, he pointed the gun at several people and threatened to shoot them. Officers arrived and found the suspect sitting inside his car. The suspect tried to leave but officers were able to arrest him after a brief struggle. A handgun was in plain view inside the suspect’s car. Officers impounded the vehicle and will write a search warrant to recover the gun. The suspect was booked into KC Jail for Investigation of Assault. Type II Use of Force and Bias Review. Gun Violence Reduction Unit advised.
