Detectives need your help identifying a man who dragged a 19-year-old woman across the ground during a robbery outside a downtown building Sunday afternoon.
The woman was walking in the 900 block of 2nd Avenue just after 2 PM Sunday, November 28th, when the suspect walked up behind her. The suspect grabbed the woman’s purse, knocking her to the ground, leaving he with cuts and bruises. The man was last seen running west along Marion Street.
Detectives are releasing surveillance video of the incident in the hopes someone may recognize the suspect.
The victim described the suspect as a Hispanic male in his 20s, 5’5″ with a light complexion.

In the video you can see the suspect approach the victim from behind and steal her purse, injuring the victim in the process.
