#2021-320520/North Precinct/Second Watch:
On 12-04-2021 at 1705 hours, a victim reported multiple online threats by a juvenile suspect to obtain a gun and shoot students at a high school. The suspect made multiple threats over several hours in a group chat with his fellow students on a popular social media site. Those threats were then screenshot and sent to more students, creating a state of fear among students and their families. The suspect was taken into custody for Felony Harassment and subsequently booked into YSC.
#2021-320914/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 12-04-2021 at 2303 hours, officers responded to a large commercial lot in the 5600 Block of W Marginal Way SW due to security observing two suspects entering the secured property through a hole in the fence. Officers quickly arrived, established containment, and began searching for the suspects. No K9 or Guardian One available. Officers located one suspect hiding on a barge on the water. The second suspect is still outstanding. It appears the suspects were attempting to steal large spools of copper wire from a secured shed but were interrupted by the arrival of police. Suspect 1 was transported to Harborview Medical Center for medical evaluation due to ingestion of heroin and will subsequently be booked for Investigation of Burglary.
