#2021-329366/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 12-14-2021 at 0100 hours, SPD received a phone call from King County Sheriff’s Office-Burien regarding a gunshot victim at St. Anne’s hospital. An SPD officer responded and interviewed the male victim and female witness. Victim told the officer he and his girlfriend were in the CID at 0100 looking for food when he was accosted by 3 males. The males demanded the victim’s gold necklace, wallet, and cell phone, and one of the suspects pointed a gun. The victim attempted to wrestle the gun away but was shot by a second suspect, pistol whipped and kicked in the head. The suspects took the jewelry, wallet, and phone before running away. Victim made it back to his parked vehicle after sustaining a through and through to his left lower leg and drove to Burien. The girlfriend had run away when the victim was being assaulted and met the victim back in Burien. The location of the assault was described as near condos and tents. Screened with Homicide. Homicide notified Robbery.
#2021-329950/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 12-14-2021 at 1910 hours, a female victim in her 40s was closing her phone shop “GO Mobile” by herself. Two suspects entered the store and immediately demanded her keys and belongings. They pushed and pinned her to the ground. They then took her backpack and cell phone. The victim stated that there’s a handgun and a large amount of cash inside the backpack. After both suspects fled, her husband, who wasn’t on-site, drove to Seattle and called 911 for her. Officers responded to the scene, but it was over 45 minutes delayed. Both suspects were described as two males wearing black clothing. No injury to the victim. The report will be forwarded to the Robbery Unit.
