A 53-year-old man was wounded in a shooting early Wednesday in the Central District.
Around 2:15 AM, police responded to a report of gunfire in the 1500 block of East Cherry Street.
Officers found the victim—who had been shot in the stomach—lying in a doorway inside an apartment building. Police provided aid to the man until Seattle Fire Department medics arrived and transported him to Harborview Medical Center.
Police were unable to locate any suspects at the scene.
