Detectives are investigating after a woman was attacked in a Pioneer Square bar Monday evening.
Witnesses called 911 at 5:15 PM Monday evening after a bartender was attacked in the 500 block of King Street. Witnesses told officers that the suspect attacked the bartender with a sharpened broomstick after she asked for proof of vaccination.
Medics treated the bartender for a laceration to her face.
Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Police believe the suspect may have gotten on a light rail train and left the area.
