#2021-340863/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 12-28-2021 at 0003 hours, an incident occurred in the 8100 blocks of 8 Av S. Both victims (male and female) live in an RV and according to both victims, 3 suspects went up to the RV and called the male victim by his first name to open the door. 3 suspects then proceeded to rob both victims at gunpoint. Suspects accidentally started a small fire as they were running away. No injury was reported. The Robbery Unit was notified. Gun Violence Reduction Unit and SPD’s Arson Bomb Squad were advised.
#2021-340195/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
On 12-27-2021 at 0455 hours, officers responded to the 9200 BLK of 25 Ave SW involving an auto theft. The registered owner (R/O) of the vehicle had his Ford F-250 stolen. Officers investigated the incident, conducted an area search, but didn’t locate the R/O’s vehicle or suspects. On 12-28-2021, the primary officer was notified by the R/O that his work-related access card was inside the stolen vehicle.
#2021-340962/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 12-28-2021 at 0444 hours, officers responded to a report of a male smashing windows with a sledge-hammer. Suspect was located and taken into custody after a foot pursuit. On search incident to arrest a small safety glass fragment was found in the suspect’s pocket. The suspect denied smashing any windows, however when asked about the glass in his pocket he identified it as, “three hots and a cot”. Suspect was booked into King County Jail.
#2021-341543/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 12-28-2021 at 2156 hours, officers arrived on a blocking vehicle call in the 6400 Block of California Av SW. Officers discovered that the vehicle was a verified Seattle PD stolen and subsequently took the driver into custody for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. A search of the suspect’s person revealed a loaded 9mm handgun magazine. Over 20 different vehicle keys were in the suspect’s possession. While at King County Jail, the suspect told an officer that when he gets out, he would get his “banger” and shoot the arresting officers. Hazard Reports completed. No Major Crimes Task Force available to respond, email sent.
