#2022-002629/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 01-04-2022 at 0130 hours, officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 7800 Block of Detroit AV SW. Upon arrival, officers learned the victim was in the suspect’s RV when a verbal argument started. During the argument, the suspect stabbed the victim one time in the abdomen causing a non-life-threatening injury. The suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Assault. The call was screened with Homicide. Patrol processed the scene.
#2022-002691/East Precinct/First Watch:
On 01-04-2022 at 0454 hours, a victim was dropped off at Harborview Medical Center (HMC) with a gunshot wound to his leg. Victim was groggy from pain and provided little information as to what happened. Victim remembers arguing with another male who had his hands in his pocket. He then woke up in the hospital. Homicide was notified of the incident.
#2022-002845/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 01-04-2022 at 0915 hours, hotel staff in the 100 block of Pine St. called to say a guest was lighting fires in his room and had referenced hostages. This was the same barricaded suspect from 1/3, see 2022-002320. First watch officers marshaled resources (CRT, HNT) and made a plan for exigent entry. The suspect immediately surrendered. The hotel room was clear of hostages and no arson occurred. However, the suspect had destroyed the walls, alarm, windows, and furniture. The suspect will be booked for Malicious Mischief in the first degree.
#2022-003343/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 01-04-2022 at 2046 hours, two unknown suspects robbed a pot shop at gun point. A shot was fired. Employees were not injured. Robbery detectives responded, conducted interviews, and recovered evidence.
