#2022-090865/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 04-12-2022 at 0009 hours, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of 4300 Whitman Av N. Upon arrival victim stated that an unknown suspect had shot his dog, injuring it. While speaking with officers, the victim observed and pointed out a suspect vehicle driving away. Officers conducted a high risk stop on the vehicle and took a suspect into custody who victim identified as girlfriend of the  shooter. The girlfriend had an outstanding warrant and was transported to the precinct where she was later I&R’ed. Shooter not located.

#2022-091272/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-12-2022 at 1156 hours, officers were arresting a female who had been involved in a nearby shoplift. At one point while taking her into custody, the woman – who appeared to be in crisis – managed to break loose enough to assault an officer. The officer received a cut to his ear and was also spit upon by the suspect. The suspect was booked for the felony assault. The officer went to the hospital for treatment. Lt. was notified of this incident.

#2022-091308/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-12-2022 at 1240 hours, officers responded to assist Seattle Fire with a vehicle on fire near 18 Av S / S Jackson St. Arriving officers located the driver of the fully engulfed vehicle in the intersection, actively stabbing himself in the neck. Officers were able to get the knife away from the subject and provide lifesaving medical aid. Medic One transported the subject to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. At Type II force investigation was completed.

#2022-091691/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 04-12-2022 at 2130 hours, officers were dispatched to a shooting call in the 9000 block of Seward Park Ave S. According to the call, multiple callers heard as many as 20 shots. Officers located evidence of a shooting on both sides of the street. Multiple cars and two apartments appeared to have been hit during the shooting. No one appeared to have been injured and no suspects were located.

#2022-091767/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 04-12-2022 at 2358 hours, several 911 calls were received regarding a vehicle involved in several collisions which fled each scene. As the vehicle fled each scene, it lost one of the front tires completely but that did not stop the driver from driving off. The vehicle eventually could not drive any longer on 3 tires and stopped after its final collision in the 3900 block of SW Dawson ST. The driver was contacted / removed from the vehicle and ultimately arrested for DUI. Once removed 2 firearms were observed in the driver seat area. Both firearms were recovered and seized. Both were loaded with a round chambered. A loaded rifle magazine was also located loaded, but no rifle was located.
