#2022-095078/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-16-2022 at 1317 hours, officers in the area of 12 Ave S/S Jackson St located a previously unidentified drug dealer from Operation New Day. Uniformed officers observed a narcotics transaction and the suspect attempted to elude on foot. Suspect was taken into custody in an underground parking garage. Officers recovered 53.2 grams of blue M-30 fentanyl pills, 6.7 grams crack cocaine, and seized $524.60. Suspect booked for Investigation of VUCSA – PWI and requested charges for obstruction.

#2022-095205/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-16-2022 at 1609 hours, the victim picked up suspect #2 on Aurora Av N. They went to her room at a hotel in the 12000 Blk. of Aurora. While they were in the room, suspect #1 entered and demanded that the victim give him his wallet and car keys. The victim and suspect struggled inside the room while suspect #2 stood in front of the door. The victim was able to break free from suspect #1 and then push suspect #2 out of the way to escape the room. Suspect #1 followed the victim and they struggled outside. Suspect #1 pulled out a handgun and the victim started to run away. Suspect #1 fired 5 or 6 shots at the fleeing victim. The victim was not hit by any of the rounds. The suspect picked up his shell casings and then went back into the room with suspect #2. Both suspects then left in a black BMW. Responding officers saw the suspect vehicle leaving the area and initiated a pursuit. The vehicle eventually stopped near 13000 and 1 Av NE. Both suspects were taken into custody. Officers recovered the handgun. Robbery Unit Detectives responded and interviewed all involved parties. Both suspects were booked into King County Jail.

#2022-095326/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-16-2022 at 1850 hours, a victim was picked up at Pioneer Square by a suspect who offered to buy her food. The suspect drove the victim to Magnuson Park where he solicited sex after exposing his private parts. The victim refused. The suspect became angry, pulled the victim from the car, shook her, threatened to punch her, and stated he would get his gun and shoot her. A witness intervened. The suspect got in his car, drove around the lot, made repeated threats to kill the victim, and then fled the area. Patrol saw the car leave, followed it all the way back to Pioneer Square, stopped the car, and arrested the suspect. The suspect, who was also intoxicated, was positively identified. The vehicle was impounded with a hold for detectives. The suspect was booked into KCJ.

#2022-095337/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 04-16-2022 at 1905 hours, it was reported that a subject came into the ER at Harborview Medical Center (HMC) with a gunshot wound to the face. Officers responded and contacted the victim. Subject reported that he was driving southbound on W Marginal Way just outside of the City of Seattle limits into Tukwila when a random unknown black or silver sedan drove by him and began shooting. The victim vehicle was shot multiple times and the driver was shot in the face but did not sustain life-threatening injuries. Suspect fled and there was no additional information. Subject reported driving to pick up his girlfriend after being shot in the face and picked up his girlfriend prior to heading to HMC. Incident was screened with GVRU, and Tukwila PD was notified.

#2022-095351/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 04-16-2022 at 1926 hours, an officer positively identified a felony warrant suspect digging through a stolen truck near Flora Ave S/S Willow St. The suspect attempted to elude on foot but was placed under arrest a short distance away. Officers recovered 15 blue M-30 fentanyl pills and a shaved key on the suspect during a search incident to arrest. The suspect admitted to possessing the stolen truck and told officers there was a revolver inside. The truck was verified SPD stolen with consent to search. Officers recovered a .45 caliber revolver from the vehicle, clear no record. The suspect was booked for Investigation of Possession of Stolen Vehicle and multiple felony warrants. Revolver submitted into evidence pending fingerprints.
