On 04-19-2022 at 2200 hours, a 63-year-old female victim was enjoying her first night downtown since the beginning of the pandemic. She had just attended a Town Hall meeting and was waiting for the bus at 3rd & Seneca. As the bus arrived, she began to stand up. An unknown male suspect approached the victim from behind and landed two “haymaker” punches on the female’s head. The victim collapsed to the ground as the suspect casually walked away. The unprovoked attack knocked numerous teeth out of the victim’s mouth. Witnesses provided officers with a general description of the assailant who was not located but evidence was recovered.
