Detectives are investigating after a man was shot in the leg on Saturday morning in Georgetown.
At 10:24 a.m., police responded to the 100 block of South Brandon Street for a report that a man had been shot. Officers arrived and began providing aid to a man with a gunshot wound to his ankle. The victim told police three male suspects had pulled up to his RV in a black SUV, and when he approached the vehicle they shot him.
The 59-year-old man was transported to Harborview Medical Center by private ambulance.
Detectives will continue to investigate this incident.
