#2022-121619/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 05-15-2022 at 0052 hours, officers responded to the area of 9400 27 Ave SW to a report of shots fired from a vehicle that had fled the area. On arrival officers contacted several witnesses who had varying accounts of what they had seen. Possibly 2-3 vehicles had been seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed, as they did so, the occupants fired handguns into the air. An area check was conducted. Evidence of a shooting was located spanning the length of the block and collected as evidence. No victims or property damage were located. GVRU was notified of the incident and patrol processed the scene.

#2022-121685/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 05-15-2022 at 0208 hours, officers responded to the area of 9041 Delridge Way SW to a report of an assault involving a firearm. The caller reported that he had just been assaulted nearby as he was emptying his trash. The suspect reportedly approached the victim and accused him of theft. After the accusation, the suspect brandished a firearm causing the victim to fear for his life. At the victim’s prompting the suspect put down the firearm, suggesting they settle the dispute “as men.” The victim was struck several times by the suspect. Unbeknownst to the victim, a female associated with the suspect was lying in wait behind him and struck him in the head with a shoe. The victim had moved from the location where the incident occurred, and officers were unable to secure a crime scene. Information provided by the victim was limited and officers were unable to locate the suspect at this time.

#2022-121937/East Precinct/First Watch:

On 05-15-2022 at 1029 hours, Seattle Fire requested SPD assistance for traffic control due to apartment fire in the 700 BLK of 7 AV. Tenants were evacuated and SFD controlled the scene. Fire Marshal arrived and is currently investigating. No known injuries.

#2022-122362/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 05-15-2022 at 2015 hours, a subject assaulted an elderly lady and was taken into custody. Subject then spat in the face of one officer and then a second one after the spit sock had been applied. Subject transported to King County Jail where he was declined and then Harborview Medical Center where he assaulted an AMR employee. Currently under hospital guard. Type 1 Force used.
