#2022-123669/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

On 05-17-2022 at 0718 hours, officers ran the license plate to a suspected stolen vehicle parked on the side of the road at the 7100 BLK of 1 Ave S (approximately 70 feet from SW Peninsula PL/SW Michigan St encampment). The suspect was in the driver’s seat with the key in the ignition, but the vehicle wasn’t running. Officers placed the suspect in custody, which lead to injuries to the suspect. Seattle Fire responded and cleared the suspect for jail. The suspect was booked at KCJ for possession of stolen vehicle, possession with intent to deliver drugs, and possession of stolen property 2nd degree.

#2022-124106/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

On 05-17-2022 at 1546 hours, officers responded to an armed robbery call at Delridge Wy Sw and Sw Henderson St. The victim advised that three suspects came inside the business. One of the suspects pointed a black handgun at the employee and demanded the employee give them merchandise from the store. The other two suspects started to steal items from the store, while the suspect with the weapon grabbed money from the cash register. The suspects all left on foot, heading southbound from this location. The suspects were wearing masks and gloves during this incident. K9 units were requested, but none were unavailable. Officers checked the area for the suspect but were unsuccessful.

#2022-124120/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 05-17-2022 at 1559 hours, officers responded to a fight on a Metro Bus between two individuals. When the primary unit arrived on scene the suspect had fled and the victim told the officers that he had been shot in the head. The suspect was located in the area by a backing unit and arrested. It was determined that the victim had been shot multiple times in the head, but it was with a pellet gun. There were no life-threatening injuries. The suspect was medically evaluated and booked into KCJ for felony assault.

#2022-124274/North Precinct/Second Watch:

On 05-17-2022 at 1847 hours, officers were dispatched to a golf course located on the 1000 block of NE 135 ST. Multiple callers reporting hearing gun shots near the golf course. Officers located a vehicle with multiple bullet holes. According to the victim, he was sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot and an older red Chevy van parked behind his vehicle. Victim observed the occupant of the van via his side view mirror. Victim described the unknown male driver as apparently angry, looking back at him. Soon after, the victim heard multiple loud bangs and ducked. Victim vehicle was struck multiple times. Victim described the incident as unprovoked. Victim had no earlier interactions with the suspect. Victim did not sustain any injuries from the shooting. Suspect vehicle is described as an 80s style Chevy van, flat red in color and had an extension cab painted in same color. Suspect vehicle was last seen fleeing east from the golf course.
