#2022-133414/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 05-27-2022 at 0028 hours, officers were dispatched to a shooting call in the Mount Baker Neighborhood. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting in the street. No victims or property damage were located. The incident was screened.
#2022-133571/East Precinct/First Watch:
On 05-27-2022 at 0640 hours, officers were dispatched to a 911 call at gas station. Upon arrival officers spoke to the reporting party and developed Probable Cause for fraud and discovered misdemeanor assault warrant. Suspect resisted arrest and intentionally kicked two officers. Officers were not injured, and the suspect was ultimately transported to KCJ via AMR for Assault 3 along with the warrant. Type 1 Use of Force initiated.
#2022-133920/West Precinct/Second Watch:
On 05-27-2022 at 1333 hours, officers responded to multiple 911 calls of shots fired within Discovery Park. Witnesses provided suspect descriptions and information they were leaving the area in a vehicle. Officers arriving in the area located and detained the vehicle. Suspects were taken into custody. There was a grid search conducted for victims and evidence by officers, which resulted in no victims or evidence recovered. Field show up was completed with positive identification of suspects and witness statements were obtained. K9 responded to assist with an evidence track. Vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant. One suspect booked and two suspects I&R.
#2022-134041/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 05-27-2022 at 1538, Seattle Fire requested traffic control for a large building fire at the former Borracchini’s Bakery located near Rainier Av S/ S Walker St. There was a large response with multiple City Departments and Rainier Av S being shut down for several hours. The cause of the fire was unknown at the time of this report.
