(UPDATE) Man Seriously Wounded in Chinatown-International District Stabbing

UPDATE 6/14 –

Officers arrested the 31-year-old suspect in this case after spotting her drinking in Westlake Park.

Officers were patrolling the park on June 13th when they recognized the woman from a bulletin about the stabbing.

Police booked her into the King County Jail for assault.

A man was seriously injured in a stabbing in the Chinatown-International District late Tuesday.

Around 8:30 PM, police responded to the intersection of 5 Avenue and South Jackson Street and found a man who’d been stabbed in the neck.

Police learned he had been involved in a previous dispute with the suspect, who fled the scene.

Police searched the area but were unable to find the suspect.

Seattle Fire Department medics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Detectives are investigating.
