#2022-156507/East Precinct/Second Watch:

On 06-19-2022 at 0530 hours, three separate callers reported hearing two gun shots near the 1100 block of 16 AV E. Officers located a witness at the 1100 block of 15 AV E, just east of Volunteer Park. The witness reported hearing an argument before the two gun shots, followed by a vehicle driving away from the area. Evidence of a shooting was located on the street but no victim or property damage were located. At the time of this writing, no other information about the shooting was available.

#2022-156625/South Precinct/First Watch:

On 06-19-2022 at 0934 hours, a 911 caller reported some SPD vehicles had been vandalized. No suspect information. 4 of 8 of the ART unit’s vehicles had their back hatch windows smashed out. Interior equipment ok. Evidence located and uploaded to AXON. LTs and Capts notified. All cars relocated to secure storage area and the damaged ones to Charles St for repair.

#2022-156769/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 06-19-2022 at 1330 hours, a victim and suspect got into an argument on the sidewalk. Suspect walked away, and returned a short time later, and stabbed victim in the back. Victim pulled his own knife and chased suspect for several blocks, where victim cornered suspect. Bystanders saw victim armed with a knife and intervened, preventing a second stabbing. Victim was examined by Seattle Fire and transported via Medic One to HMC with non-life- threatening injuries. Both knives recovered. Suspect was booked for Investigation of Assault, and three outstanding warrants.

#2022-156811/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 06-19-2022 at 1420 hours, a juvenile was walking in the 1500 block of Pike Pl when a suspect walked up behind her and thrust his erect penis into her buttocks. Victim alerted the adult she was with, who flagged down security officers. Security was able to detain suspect until police arrived. Evidence was captured and the Sexual Assault Unit was consulted. Suspect was booked into KCJ for investigation of Indecent Liberties.

#2022-156823/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 06-19-2022 at 1438 hours, a suspect was randomly assaulting folks as he walked down the street. Officers contacted the suspect, and the suspect assaulted the officers. The suspect was taken into custody. The officers suffered minor wounds. A type 2 Use of Force was completed.

#2022-156833/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 06-19-2022 at 1456 hours, an elderly woman was standing on the sidewalk when she was approached by the suspect, who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. The suspect shoved the victim forcefully into a scaffolding. The victim struck her head and hip, then fell to the ground. The suspect then walked away. Witnesses called 9-1-1. Suspect was not located. Victim was transported to HMC for evaluation of her injuries. Media notified.

#2022-156883/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 06-19-2022 at 1612 hours, officers responded to the 8300 block of Rainier Av S to a report that a neighbor had shot at the victim and his vehicle while he was working on it at the street. There was a large police response closing several blocks of Rainier Av S. Officers established contact with the suspect who eventually surrendered without incident. A pellet gun was recovered which was consistent with the damage to the vehicle. The suspect was booked into KCJ for investigation of assault.

#2022-156977/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 06-19-2022 at 1807 hours, officers responded to multiple reports of a male running SB on 39 Av S shooting a gun near Benefit Playground. Police responded and it was determined at least two individuals were shooting at each other and fled the scene in vehicles. The only vehicle description was a blue sedan and possibly a white vehicle with the window shot out. Evidence of a shooting was recovered at the scene. Beacon Av S was closed for several blocks during the investigation. The incident was screened with GVRU along with K9 responding.

#2022-157013/South Precinct/Second Watch:

On 06-19-2022 at 1852 hours, officers responded to a reported home invasion robbery near the 8400 block of Rainier Pl S. The victims stated they were in bed when the suspect kicked in the bedroom door and robbed them of a watch at gun point. The victims were only able to provide limited information and one victim did not want to provide any of his information and cooperate. A search of the area ended in negative results. K9 responded to the scene.

#2022-157118/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 06-19-2022 at 2051 hours, officers observed a subject wanted on a felony warrant. They attempted to take the suspect into custody and a foot pursuit ensued. Type 2 use of force was used to take the subject into custody. The suspect was booked into SCORE jail and Lt. was advised.
