#2022-181446/North Precinct/Third Watch:

On 07-14-2022 at 0237 hours, witnesses called 911 reporting an unidentified suspect had lit an unoccupied RV on fire. Seattle Fire responded, extinguished the fire, and called for Fire Marshal. There was no suspect description or known motivation for the crime. Officers canvassed for evidence and the incident screened with ABS.

#2022-181577/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 07-14-2022 at 0655 hours, officers arrived at KC King St Center Bldg to investigate an initial report of a Molotov thrown through a smashed window of the Metro Customer Service lobby. A bottle of olive oil, with a cloth strip inserted, was smashed on the floor. ABS responded.

#2022-181620/East Precinct/First Watch:

On 07-14-2022 at 0807 hours, a witness reported seeing a suspect male appx 6′, clean shaven wearing a hat, baggy plaid pajama pants with a fanny pack across chest walking on the sidewalk at E Cherry / 26 AV. The witness said a black Infiniti I30 sedan stopped near the suspect. The suspect appeared to stare at the vehicle and then pulled out a black revolver from his fanny pack and fired 5 shots towards the vehicle. Both suspect and vehicle fled the area. Officers scoured the area but could not locate any damage from the rounds fired. Officers are working on gathering evidence. GVRU notified.

#2022-181815/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

On 07-14-2022 at 1206 hours, a woman claimed she was followed by a man in a white SUV, who followed her into a parking lot and then accosted her, threatening her, and using a possible racial slur. The victim was unsure if the suspect was using the term as a racial slur or if it was just his manner of speaking but was certainly afraid that the unknown suspect would return, so she has avoided the area since.

#2022-181991/West Precinct/Second Watch:

On 07-14-2022 at 1514 hours, officers responded to a robbery in the 1200 block of S Jackson ST. The owner of the victim store stated that three suspects entered his store with a gun drawn and demanded people get on the ground. The store owner produced his own gun for protection, causing one of the subjects to deploy bear spray before all three exited the building. An area check was completed with negative results.
