#2022-207695/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 08-08-2022 at 0018 hours, officers were dispatched to a shooting call near MLK JR Way S and S Holly St. According to multiple callers, multiple shots were fired, and two armed suspects fled the scene. Officers arrived and found evidence of a shooting. A K9 track was conducted, but the suspects were not located. No victims or property damage were located.
#2022-207713/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 08-08-2022 at 0041 hours, several callers contacted 911 reporting hearing shots fired in the area. Officers responded and began an area check. A caller then called 911 stating that he had been grazed by a bullet. Officers located the victim who had been a pedestrian in the area and determined that he had been lightly grazed by a bullet. Officers then located bullet damage to a basement window of the apartment building that he had been standing in front of. Officers contacted the occupant of the apartment and were able to confirm that she had not been injured. Neither the occupant of the apartment nor the pedestrian were associated with the shooting, and were innocent victims. Evidence of a shooting was located in the street. The evidence from the street and in the apartment was photographed and collected.
#2022-207958/East Precinct/First Watch:
On 08-08-2022 at 0200 hours, a victim reported being around 1 AV S / S Dakota ST at a Rave on 8-7-22 at appx 0200 when an acquaintance he was with punched him repeatedly in the head. The victim drove himself to the hospital with severe head trauma and possible brain damage. South Precinct Officers are currently working on locating evidence from the scene. Screened with SGT in Homicide.
#2022-208282/North Precinct/Second Watch:
On 08-08-2022 at 1353 hours, officers responded to a bank robbery. The suspect passed a note to the teller and a firearm was implied. Officers searched for the suspect but he was not located. Scene processed for evidence.
#2022-212462/North Precinct/Second Watch:
On 08-08-2022 at 1500 hours, two teen females were sunning themselves at Green Lake when an unknown male approached them, told them ‘women are slaves’, ‘women shouldn’t be outside without a man’, and called them ‘bitch’. The unknown male then threatened to assault them, saying ‘have you ever had your face kicked in with a 13-inch foot?’ The teens gathered their belongings and fled, but not before they were able to take a photo of the suspect, as well as an audio recording of the threat. This was reported to the telephone reporting unit four days later.
#2022-208555/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 08-08-2022 at 1903 hours, officers were dispatched to a shooting. According to the caller, an unknown subject fired one shot at her vehicle. Officers arrived and contacted the victim. The victim was uninjured. One bullet hole was located on the rear driver side of the victim’s car. The victim stated that the suspect shot at her vehicle from inside of his vehicle and then drove off. The suspect left in a vehicle prior to officers arriving, and that vehicle was not located. Evidence of a shooting was located and collected.
