Police are investigating after a man was stabbed Tuesday evening Downtown.
At 7:42 p.m., a 911 caller near 3rd Avenue and University Street reported a man had flagged her down and said he’d been stabbed. Responding officers rendered aid to the 52-year-old victim, who had a cut on his arm and a stab wound to his abdomen. Seattle Fire Department medics then transported the man to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment for his apparently non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers located and documented the scene of the stabbing near 3rd Avenue and Pike Street. According to witnesses, the suspect had fled the area before police arrived, and he was not located.
