Police arrested a suspect armed with a handgun on Friday after he threatened to shoot an employee in a Georgetown nightclub.
Around 9:30 p.m., a 911 caller reported that a man made threats to come back and “take everyone down” at a nightclub in the 5800 block of 4th Avenue South. Staff removed the man from the club. Once in the parking lot, the man brandished a handgun and threatened to shoot an employee in the head.
Responding officers located and detained the suspect and retrieved a handgun from his waistband area. Officers arrested the 48-year-old man for Felony Harassment and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and booked him into the King County Jail.
